Yaeger CPA Review Course – Is It Worth Purchasing?

July 12th, 2010 by · No Comments · Uncategorized

After using another study course, I only passed one out of four sections of the exam. That was when I opted for the home study course provided by Yaeger. Phil Yaeger, has prepared people for the exam since 1977. Dr. Yaeger himself on a few occasions) who would not finish the call until I had no further questions.

The lecture videos are extremely engaging and are delivered by experienced tutors. The videos kept to a a simple format where lecturers explained the key ideas and gave multiple choice questions and examples. The good thing about the Yaeger system is they placed emphasis on materials with a higher chance of turning up on the exam. Likewise, they would tell students to focus more on doing practice questions that have the highest chances of showing up in the actual exam.

I also felt the cram DVDs were good value and responsible for a few point boost to my final exam marks. The cram DVDs vary in length (between 7 to 16 hours) but cover the essential sections thoroughly. Even students that are using another CPA review course can gain knowledge from these cram DVDs by using them for supplementary, last-minute study materials.

This includes the lesson videos they record annually. Thus, the student can be confident that they are learning from the most current information.

Even with their high quality, Yaeger CPA products are priced lower than many other CPA exam review courses. Overall, I am ecstatic with the Yaeger CPA review course and would recommend it highly to anyone wanting to succeed in the CPA exam.
